Meet the Builder

Glenn Phillips

… Has been in the construction industry practically his whole life. He received his first paycheck from a construction job at the young age of 15 in Palm Beach County, where he grew up. Having built his first structure, a two story 3,000 square foot barn, at the age of 17, he’s had ample experience building things with wood, metal, trusses, nails and a hammer…Today he is still using that same hammer and tool belt, a stellar team of sub contractors, a project manager named Diogo, and 40+ years of experience to build exceptional spaces for people to live in and make lifelong memories. Diogo has been a blessing to the business as his multilanguage, experience and special attention to customer service is especially valued.

He married his wife, Wendy who is also an entrepreneur, nearly 33 years ago and they began building their future. Glenn and Wendy have two grown daughters; Mackenzie who lives in Pompano Beach, Fl and works in the yachting world as a Finance and Insurance Director with Marine Max, Kendall is at FSU working towards a major in Business and Real Estate.

The industry has greatly changed from his beginnings working for the #1 builder in Lake County, Florida while closing out over 75 homes a year with a flip phone to today where he primarily focuses on custom estate homes and larger additions and remodels.

Glenn has been a member at the Lake and Sumter County HBA (Home Builder Association) since 2003; he has served on the Board and recently, as President. Faith and family are top priorities for Glenn and he is very involved in his community with memberships at Lifepointe Church in Eustis and the Mount Dora Yacht Club.

More about Glenn…

In his spare time, Glenn enjoys fishing and playing pickleball, golf and traveling. He has been an involved community businessman by volunteering in local high school shop classes and teaching high school students throughout Lake County. His wife has been a successful businesswoman herself in the beauty, media and HR fields.

Glenn has come a long way from growing up on concrete floors and no A/C in South Florida. Today, he is especially skilled at projects that require extra attention, job site work and overcoming difficult challenges throughout the construction process. He is a great communicator that relies on under promising and over delivering. The word of mouth advertising is proof that if you exceed your customers expectations, they can become your marketing!
